Eight Laws of Life
1. Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus
Eternal life is in Christ through the Spirit alone.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
Rom. 8:2
2. Law of Moses
Live by the whole law or be condemned by it.
For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.
Jas. 2:10
3. Law of Faith
Faith alone justifies apart from the works of the law.
Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith.
Rom. 3:27
4. Law of Sin and Death
The flesh is incurably sinful unto death.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
Rom. 8:2
5. Law of the Mind
You can only serve God with the spiritual mind, and not by your flesh.
…So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.
Rom. 7:25(b)
6. Law of God
God is holy and cannot look on sin.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
Rom. 8:7
7. Perfect Law of Liberty
You are free to fulfill your destiny through the power of the Word.
But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
Jas. 1:25
8. Royal Law
Be like God and love others as you love yourself.
If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well.
Jas. 2:8
