Frederick A. Drummond was born to love God and people, and in 1965 he was born again so that he could do so for God. This is his testimony. He believes that nothing beats the God-life. It is the most fantastic opportunity that anyone can have, and without a doubt nothing else satisfies like it.
Even before his conversion in 1965 at eighteen years of age, the earmarks of his prophetic call were being made manifest. After his baptism in the Holy Spirit in 1967 (which he didn’t understand at the time) he was never the same. His mouth was opened; his tongue loosed; and what was a young, nervous boy who couldn’t speak in front of others, overnight turned into a powerfully, anointed preacher. He was bubbling over with life and full of the Word. He grew up the hard way and had many obstacles to overcome before his lifestyle would begin to catch up with his message. Nevertheless, he will be quick to tell you, “Jesus led me all the way with shouts of ‘Grace, grace,’ and I will forever love Him because of it.”
This is why, after forty-one years of full-time ministry, Frederick A. Drummond, Sr., and his ministerial team, who have worked together for more than thirty-five years, established Destiny Ministries to help God’s people get back to the message of Jesus Christ that changed his life, by assisting others to build great homes and churches:
- Preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom until Christ returns
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Matthew 24:14
- Laying the foundation of the elementary principles of Christ in believers’ lives so they can build on them in their homes and churches
Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,
of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
And this we will do if God permits.
Hebrews 6:1-3
- Testifying to the importance of grace as a major role-player in all our successes
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
1 Corinthians 15:10
- Stressing the value of basing our faith solely on the Word of God and not our feelings and experiences
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): . . .
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:8,17
- Recognizing the role of the many gifts given by the Holy Spirit to every church member and utilizing them all
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;
or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching;
he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
Romans 12:1-8
- Building powerful churches that become healing centers for every kind of problem by pressing into the anointing that was on Christ for this dispensation
And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him.
And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”
Luke 4:17-21
- Teaching churches to display to the world a level of love that defies reason and proves that we are God’s people
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
John 13:34,35
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—
to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
